Securitrans Public Transport Security AG is a joint venture of the parent companies Swiss Federal Railways SBB (51%) and Securitas (49%) and is headquartered in Bern.

When it was first founded in 2001, SBB's own railway police officers became employees of Securitrans.

Securitrans is Switzerland's leading security provider in the public transport sector.

It provides railway police services, railway installation security (security guards for stations and other installations) and track safety (lookout staff for permanent-way worksites) to all interested public transport providers.
