We ensure security at stations

Securitrans employees patrol the station concourse and platforms in pairs, making sure that law and order are being upheld.

Their very presence is enough to prevent crimes and harassment, and to ensure that the house rules are observed.

They patrol and protect all facilities and installations and cooperate closely with railway employees, with the police and with emergency and rescue services.

Our employees are always happy to provide passengers, passers-by and clients with information; they are also ready to advise and assist the employees of shops and restaurants should any problems arise.

In Switzerland's larger stations, we have surveillance centres to coordinate both our patrols and all the other security and rescue services deployed at the stations. If a lift is out of order, if there has been a power cut or if there is a fire or medical emergency, the surveillance centre promptly takes whatever action is necessary.

This means that if something happens, our professionals are invariably the first ones on the scene. If there is a threat of violence or damage to property, they naturally intervene. They always remain calm and never lose sight of the whole picture even in difficult situations.

In brief: These are professionals you can count on.
