27 May 2002 Jörg Stocker appointed new Commander-in-Chief of the railway police Jörg Stocker, the former Chief Constable of Lucerne Cantonal Police, is to switch to the railway police. By taking over as Commander-in-Chief of the Public Transport Police, Stocker will at the same time become a board member of Securitrans, Public Transport Security AG, a joint venture of SBB and Securitas that specializes in railway security. more» 6 January 2003 Securitrans pleased with its first full year in business Securitrans, Public Transport Security AG has been highly successful in its efforts to ensure security on public transport. A joint venture of SBB and Securitas, it already employs more than 220 people as railway police officers, security guards for railway installations and lookout officers.
